Gilbert is the founder and Executive Director of Development Solutions Consultancy. He is a proven Organizational Development (OD) Consultant and an Executive Coach premised on Social Change Management, Institutional Development, Organizational Sustainability(Social Enterprise Approaches ) , Organizational Capacity Assessments and Development, Partnership and Grant Management Processes, Strategic Leadership and Planning, Team Management & Development, Resource Mobilization & Effective Project Management.
Gilbert has over 22 Years of development experience (15 years formal employment and 6years in consultancies) in organizational development providing technical and advisory services in Organizational Development Processes, Leadership, Strategic Planning , Governance, and Sustainability to individuals , agencies , private and public sector.

Gil has over 21 years of experience in the development arena having worked with international organizations like Save the children international, VSO, UNFPA Lesotho, World Vision international, IOM and FHI360.
He has worked in East and Southern Africa and part of Asia in the following countries: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Lesotho, South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Eswatini, Zambia, Malawi and Malaysia.
- Trained and developed capacity of over 45 CSOs in East and Southern Africa in Leadership and Board governance.
- Developed the capacity of 23 CSOs in East, Southern Africa and Asia to adopt the social enterprise model.
- Designed and implemented the first urban child protection programme in Busia Uganda under World Vision
- Designed one of the best model child protection programs involving the private sector in reducing child trafficking and child marriage.
- Designed Board charters for over 19 CSOs in East and Southern Africa
- Conducted comprehensive assessment on the impact of huge construction projects and covid19 to migration in Lesotho for IOM.
- Designed training manual for Social accountability for Skillshare Lesotho
- Sits on the Board of 21 youth organizations in East and Southern Africa.
