Eric is a well-versed development and resource mobilization expert with extensive experience in donor interactions and proposal building. He has extensive expertise mobilizing resources and managing large budgets with organizations such as World Vision International and others. Eric has a proven track record of creating proposals and is conversant with donor requirements, including those of USAID, FINNISH AID, AUSTRALIAN AID, EU, ECHO, and Sida.

His 20 years of development experience and mobilization of resources for over 35 grassroot groups in East and Southern Africa  allowed him  to sustain 30 organizations using extremely unique fundraising strategies thanks to his skills.

Eric is an expert in PRA and community entry tactics, as well as NGO sustainability. 

He is quite knowledgeable about preparing briefs and other documents that describe donor plans, policies, and trends, as well as alerting senior management to key donor difficulties.

Through his strong fundraising skills, he has been to nations such as Kenya, Uganda, the United States, Korea, and China. He also has a successful track record in sponsorship programming and resource mobilization, as well as being a strong advocate of child safety and protection initiatives.

  • Has extensive experience in holistic development approaches having worked for World Vision International for over 15 years as a development practitioner in both rural and urban settings in East, Southern and western UGANDA
  • Participates in and/or observes donor coordination meetings and prepares summaries of discussion notes for Management Office while with World Vision International
  • Organizes Regular Multi-Donor Meetings To Brief Donors On The Status Of WORLD VISION SPONSORSHIP  Overall Operational Stance, Priorities, And Funding Situation;
  • Attends External Strategic Meetings With The Resident Representative And Prepares Read-Outs;
  • Drafts and or reviews policy briefs, summary reports, meeting notes/minutes as needed;
  • Provided World Vision  and other multilateral bodies, NGOs, and other global donors  and  stakeholders with information on the WVs sponsorship programmes and development of global joint fundraising strategy.
